Brushwood and broombush are both names used for Melaleuca uncinata, a hardy Australian shrub which is used for its unique properties. Melaleuca uncinata is resilient against Australia's harsh climate, having the longevity that is ideal for dividing fences. All the Brushwood used by DAVEY Brushwood has been cropped throughout the Wheatbelt of Western Australia. DAVEY Brushwood Fencing, The Wheatbelt Development Commission and Avongro worked together to form the co-op of farmers that are now our sole Brushwood supply.
Brushwood Development Plan
Our high density Brushwood panels are constructed using high powered machinery; which at extreme pressures compress the Brushwood between high tensile wires. Compaction of the brushwood is a critical factor in ensuring the longevity of the product and subsequently we are able to provide an evenly distributed panel with weights of up to 100 kilos.
